Support improves the patient experience (Wells, 2018)
Cancer isn’t crossed only in the body: also in the mind and in daily life. Wells’ research reminds us that support is part of care, not an add-on.
What the study found
Almost all patients who receive support report higher satisfaction with their care. Human support improves how the process is lived, adherence, and the sense of control.
What it means for you during treatment
You don’t have to do it alone. Having someone who organizes the process and adjusts the plan reduces improvisation and emotional load.
How IronHumans applies it
The method puts one-on-one human support at the center: you don’t get a generic plan, but a sustained process that adapts to you and your family.
